- I am honored to have had the opportunity to gain insight into veterans' struggles as well as how the VA operates. It was truly a humbling experience, to say the least. As an ambitious Multimedia Journalist/videographer, I am looking forward to telling more stories like these in my future career. I purchased my first camera in 2017 and have loved filming as well as documenting various people's stories from that point forward. This is what ultimately drew me to journalism, in understanding the power that comes with displaying the different viewpoints within the world that can be crafted and told by asking the right questions. I was always curious as a kid and this perfectly translated to the degrees I now hold. Thank you for viewing my project which I hold near and dear to my heart due to watching my Dad go through similar struggles. I am excited to see what my future holds!
